Kami Leon
Kami Leon started her drag journey when COVID hit in 2020. Honing her skills in the comfort of her own home, she used her creativity and graphic design skills to create a series of music videos which she would then premiere on established queens online Twitch streams. A year later she hit the Toronto drag scene performing at open stages around the gay village. With that came a bi-weekly gig hosting Karaoke Tuesdays at The Well Toronto.
In April of 2022, Kami brought together three other incredible drag entertainers to create the House of Diamonds in order to join Absolute Empire’s Ball Season 3 - a drag competition created by Canada’s Drag Race Season 1’s Scarlett Bobo. The House of Diamonds went on to win second place in the Grand Finale two months later.
Now, Kami performs weekly at popular LGBTQ+ bars and clubs all across Toronto.
